About Us
HappyMeter is based on the Barr Satisfaction Metric, which is the intellectual property of A Model of Reality, Inc. A Model Of Reality, Inc. is the owner of U.S. Patent: Satisfaction Metrics and Methods of Implementation, 8,380,560. Tony Barr, the founder of SAS and HappyMeter, created the concept while conducting satisfaction surveys at his own company, Barr Systems. He noticed that while there was interesting information in the survey results, there was no way to calculate an overall measure of satisfaction since the importance of each survey question wasn’t weighted.
